Winter is coming! It will be very cold in Austria in the coming days.
It will remain dry in the north and east on Wednesday. It is cold in the morning at minus four degrees. There will be snowfall up to 800 meters in the west and a maximum of plus four degrees.
A mix of rain and snow awaits us on Thursday. Freezing chances: Between minus ten (!) and plus one degrees in the early morning. It remains cold during the day, with the maximum temperature ranging between plus one to plus seven degrees.
There will be clouds on Friday and there will be wetness in the Northeast. Have an umbrella ready! Snow from 1,000 metres, temperatures in the morning between icy minus six and plus six degrees, in the afternoon between four and eleven degrees.
Meteorologists predict “cold and even frost in some places” will continue over the weekend, with early temperatures sometimes well below zero. The coming week also promises to be cold. Winter jackets out, Austria!
