Apparently completely free from border controls and despite increased terror alert levels, representatives of a feared terror regime can travel throughout Europe and even give speeches to their supporters: While more direct social media users are immediately prosecuted by prosecutors, Abdelbari Omar, former minister and head of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, appeared at a mosque in Cologne – at the beginning of his speech, Muslims applauded and chanted “Allahu Akbar”. Slogans (“Allah – God – is great”) were raised.
In the middle of Germany, a visitor from Afghanistan was even allowed to post his own propaganda messages: he told how successful, prosperous and safe the “Islamic Emirate” of Afghanistan is, reports Bild.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid confirmed the contents of the message. But
Irritant: The event took place in Ditib, the room of the Turkish-Islamic Union of Institutions for Religion E. V., it is the largest Sunni-Islamic organization in Germany.
However, the Cologne-Chorweiler Detib Association said it had no knowledge of this presence. They were “surprised” by the Taliban meeting at their compound, which was registered as a “religious event” by the “Afghan Cultural Association Cologne Meschnich e.V.”
Ditib simply provided the rooms.
The whole incident with the Taliban representative and his entry into Germany without any problems is a major embarrassment for the German federal government: There are waves on the Internet – the fact that the Taliban can enter and leave at will has been massively criticized. Is becoming the reason.
Gerhard Papke, leader of the FDP’s parliamentary group in North Rhine-Westphalia, also commented sharply: “A high-ranking representative of the Taliban terrorist regime Enters Germany unmolested to work under Erdogan in Afghanistan To spray its Islamic poison in the controlled Grand Mosque in Cologne: Germany has given up!”
Particularly strange: the Foreign Office – the ministry of Annalena Baerbock (Greens) – condemns its own federal government in a posting on X (Twitter). It is stated thus: “We condemn the presence of the TalibanAbdul Bari Omar, representative in Cologne, in the strongest terms. No visa was issued by any of our visa offices for the personal data we hold. We are examining further measures in close cooperation with the international authorities and partners.
And: “We were not informed about the trip. We do not recognize Taliban. As long as the Taliban in Afghanistan continues to openly crush human rights, especially the rights of women and girls, there will be no normalization under Taliban rule.
Conclusion: The German Federal Government knew nothing about the entry of a representative of the Taliban terrorist regime. The ex-Taliban minister could probably just as easily have left for Austria – as we all know, without serious border controls, anything is possible.
By the way: Abdelbari Omar was in the Netherlands before his appearance in Germany. There he attended a meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO) and posed for photographs with a Dutch minister…
