“He was part of our DNA,” Jennifer Aniston, 54, writes in an emotional post. The Instagram post included a photo of Perry and Aniston rehearsing on the set of the globally successful TV series “Friends.” And in the second photo there is a fragment of a text message Matthew Perry once sent to Jennifer Aniston – with the words: “Making you laugh made my day.” Aniston replied at the time: “First time out of thousands.” He put a smiley face and a heart behind it.
Aniston adds: “Saying goodbye to our Matty was an incredible wave of emotions like I had never experienced before. We all experience loss at some point in our lives. Loss of life or loss of love. When you are able to really feel that sadness, you can feel moments of joy and gratitude for loving someone so much. And we loved her very much.” And: “It was always the six of us. We were a chosen family that forever changed who we were and what path we would take.”
Finally, Jennifer Aniston writes: “Matty, I love you so much and I know you are now completely at peace and no longer in pain. I talk to you every day. (…) Rest in peace, little brother. You always make my day.”
