An Austrian (23) is from a Tiber bridge in the middle ROM He died. After falling about twelve meters on Monday afternoon, he landed on a concrete slab on the pier and died instantly. Nothing more could be done for the Singapore-born youth, police confirmed on Tuesday.
The fall occurred in front of dozens of tourists who were on the bridge at the time. The alarm was raised when a witness saw the man’s body on the shore of Tiber Island. Criminal police started investigation. It cannot be ruled out that the Austrian man fell from the bridge while trying to take a selfie. It was not revealed which region of Austria the man came from.
