On Thursday evening, a Viennese man, apparently a psychiatric patient, made so much noise in his apartment that worried neighbors called 911. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. in the area of Esmayergasse and Karl-Loewe-Gasse in Meidling, oe24.at reports.
Police supported by WEGA responded to the address. Since the man did not respond, the officers decided to force open the door. This probably frightened the man so much that he jumped out of the window from a height of twelve meters or slipped while climbing out. The exact circumstances are still being determined by police.
