So sad for David Broner. One of Austria’s biggest music producers has apparently died of a heart attack, as radio giant Eberhard Forcher announced via Facebook.
“Big shock!!! Just found out that David Broner has passed away. He apparently died of a heart attack while on holiday in Malta. I can’t really believe it and don’t want to, but the source can be classified as reputable,” Forcher says. And further: “Not only was he a deeply lovable man whose heart was in the right place, but he also always found the right tone in political discussions – even in difficult times.”
Viennese David Bronner was considered one of the country’s greatest music producers. He has been doing this since 1994 and has produced recordings for, among others, the Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung (EAV), Hubert von Goizern and Conchita Wurst. Meanwhile he himself was part of EAV.
One of his most famous productions: “Rise Like a Phoenix”. With this song, Conchita Wurst won the 59th Eurovision Song Contest in 2014. This was Austria’s second victory in ESC history. Take care David!
