It is suspected that a previously unknown perpetrator followed two women walking a long distance in Gross-Enzersdorf around 2 am on 4 November. Both the women managed to escape safely.
The previously unknown perpetrator is also suspected of having attempted suicide at the bus station in Gross-Enzersdorf at around 6:05 am on 5 November and in front of Orth an der Donau at around 10:30 pm on 5 November. At the entrance of an apartment building, each man alone raped local women, violently throwing the victims to the ground in both cases. Both the women were successful in driving away the culprit due to their resistance.
The victims known so far are 18 and 19 years old. They were shocked and one victim even suffered scratches.
