LASK have achieved their first point in the current Europa League football season. Linzers celebrated a 3-0 home win against Union Saint-Gillois on Thursday, thus maintaining their chances of overwintering in the European Cup. This time LASK won – mainly thanks to a confident first half. In front of 15,900 fans, the Upper Austrians had a slight lead from the start, with the home team making it 1–0 after Ivan Ljubić’s first warning shot hit the crossbar (21st).
