Scientists from the United States described the results of their recently published study as “surprising”: instead of proving the still popularly claimed effectiveness of the acclaimed corona vaccination in preventing infection, the data shows exactly the opposite. Among 96,201 inmates in California prisons, the incidence rate of corona was consistently higher among vaccinated inmates than among unvaccinated inmates.
Already in 2021, a small study among prisoners in a Texas prison caused a stir: the story of protection against infection through the experimental Covid vaccine burst like a soap bubble (Report 24 reports), because it showed It turned out that there was no difference in viral. There is a weightage between vaccinated people and… unvaccinated people. This means the grounds for mandatory vaccination are gone, which hasn’t stopped politicians from continuing to sanction unvaccinated people.
Now, in a new study, researchers compared incidence rates between vaccinated and unvaccinated inmates in 33 prisons across the state of California between January and July 2023. All commentators whose data were included in the study had bivalent vaccine The vaccine, which hit the market in September 2022 (and which has again been claimed to prevent infection).
Although scientists expected vaccinated people to test positive less often than unvaccinated people, the opposite was the case: The incidence among those who were bivalently vaccinated was consistently higher than among those who were not fully vaccinated. This difference was only present among those over 65, but it did not reach statistical significance – although the number of people who were not vaccinated was also very small.

The researchers concluded: “This study shows that although the bivalent vaccine may provide protection against severe outcomes, it may not significantly reduce the risk of common infections.” Considering the fact that the risk of infection (more precisely: the risk of testing positive) was even higher in the group of vaccinated people, this conclusion seems downright misleading. – But as is well known, the scientific establishment does not want to express too much criticism of mRNA vaccines. The risk is very high that the study will not be published.
It is unclear to what extent the prisoners who tested positive were actually sick. However, given that the negative effects of vaccination on the immune system have been proven many times in the past, it seems entirely possible that vaccinated people were also more likely to struggle with symptoms. The US CDC also recently acknowledged that the new BA.2.86 variant is more likely to affect vaccinated people than unvaccinated people.
