A violent husband (29) was arrested in Vienna-Döbling in the afternoon. According to the police, there was an argument between him and his wife the night before. A friend of the woman eventually called the police after they told her the man punched her in the face several times and shook the baby hard, causing her to flee the apartment.
Police officers arrested the suspect from the apartment. They were banned from entering and approaching the building, as well as a temporary ban on weapons. He is currently in police custody. The woman and her child were taken to hospital to be checked for injuries.
