tuvia tenenbaumBorn in Tel Aviv in 1957, comes from a German-Jewish-Polish family. He has been living in New York since 1981. He studied, among other things, English literature, applied theater studies, mathematics and computer science, as well as rabbinical studies and Islamic studies. He works as a journalist, essayist and playwright and writes for several newspapers in the United States, Europe and Israel. In 1994 he founded the Jewish Theater of New York. More recently, the bestsellers were Alone Among Germans (2012), Alone Among Jews (2014), Alone Among Americans (2016), Alone Among Refugees (2017) and Alone Among Brits (2020).
