This process has been known in Austria for decades, especially by the SpO. If you want to act as if “the public” is demanding something, you are exploiting the youth. These then simulate a “rally”, with associated media exaggerating the number of participants. Even when the socialists were in government, many laws were introduced in this manner. Exactly the same process can now be seen with “Climademos”.
While Report 24 reported over the weekend how parents of students at a new middle school in Vienna were “persuaded” to allow their children to take part in a “climate strike”, now the document also Circulations are being made of how they were used in high schools in Vienna. The process is reminiscent of totalitarian regimes, whose ruling class also likes to cheer and celebrate – participation is mandatory there.
A Viennese high school made participation equally mandatory for some classes: “Some classes will go for performances as part of the curriculum. In this case, participation is mandatory for all children in the class – the responsible teacher will also be informed of this.

The document also contains two so-called QR codes that take you directly to the content on the Internet. The first link leads to “Scientists 4 Future”, a sort of subgroup of Climate Chaos that is funded by the European Climate Foundation. It is an international NGO, funded by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Bloomberg Philanthropies and IKEA. Interestingly, the funding here does not come directly from George Soros – rather, the ECF sends funds to Soros’s European Council on Foreign Relations. The Director General of the European Climate Foundation was previously a close associate of George Soros and head of “Philantrophic Partnerships” of the Open Society Foundations. Only by these few cross-connections can one easily trace where the wind is blowing – right in front of the Viennese students.
Report24 looked at the School Education Act and came across section 46, paragraph 2. it is:
§46 Collection in school, participation in non-school events, non-school advertising
(2) Participation of students in events that are not school events ( § 13 ) or school-related events ( § 13a ) may be held at the school only with permission. The class or school forum or school community committee is responsible for issuing the permit. Furthermore, approval may be given by the responsible school authority; If the participation of students from several schools for which different school authorities are responsible is to be organised, approval may be given by the common school authority responsible for all these schools. Approval can be given only if it is ensured that the participation of the students is voluntary and based on the written declaration of consent of their legal guardians and that the students have no fear of any danger morally or physically, and the purpose of this The phenomenon cannot be achieved in any other way. The above provisions do not apply to the organization of student services, as well as to religious exercises and programs during religious education (section 2a paragraph 1 of the Religious Education Act, Federal Law Gazette No. 190/1949).
We call on responsible politicians to carefully investigate the events surrounding the Vienna Climate Strike in 2023 and, if necessary, report on them.
