The alleged criminal was kept in a closed rehabilitation ward. However, on his way to medical work, he walked away from the group without permission. The nurses immediately alerted the police – it was too late.
According to the facility, the man was being detained for several crimes including intentional assault, coercion and insult. “Due to a mental disorder, the man was found legally incompetent,” the center said, according to RTL. The Heidelberg Criminal Investigation Department has taken over the investigation of this case. “We secure evidence here at the site, talk to witnesses and of course we contact the accused himself.
