“Same thing every day”, “What’s happening in the metro again?” and “It’s not possible, delay again?” – These and similar comments can be read from angry Viennese and Viennese travelers on social media. Public transport is once again facing problems on Friday. In the early hours of the morning there were once again damaged trains on both U3 and U6.
So U3 only ran irregularly between 7:07 am and 8:14 am. Problems with U6 – which started at 6:54 am – still exist. “After travel disruptions, there are different gaps on the U6,” warned Wiener Linien.
Many Viennese keep asking themselves: When will Mayor Michael Ludwig (SPO) finally intervene? One angry user on X (formerly Twitter) writes, “Mr. Mayor, it’s time!”
