Gerald Melzer was the last of a total of eight Austrians to be knocked out in the main event of the 118,000 euro ATP Challenger in Toulon on Thursday. Now the 33-year-old qualifier lost 3:6, 2:6 to top seed Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas after 81 minutes. Others including Jurij Rodionov, Filip Misolic and Denis Novak were ousted early in the past.
