Mohammed Amana (26) climbed a ladder onto the balcony of his Swedish ex-girlfriend’s apartment and then broke the glass door with a stone. The young woman hid in the bathroom while her boyfriend tried to drive away the Algerian – but he stabbed her with a knife.
Amana was arrested after the attack and when interrogated by police she said she heard voices telling her to come to the apartment, but claimed she could not remember any further details. However, he has denied stabbing his friend.
However, the male victim filmed the attack, which took place on May 25 in the Swedish town of Örefors in Nybro Municipality, and released the video as evidence. Yet the culprit was only sentenced to two years in prison – the internet is outraged.
“Two years? This is not a fair sentence. This man not only hurt his victims psychologically…” writes a user on X (formerly Twitter). “This sentence is ridiculous. I have no words. Are,” another person wrote.
