Patrick Gallahue of the New York City Health Department told Daily Express US: “As cases continue to rise, precautions are becoming increasingly important, especially for the most vulnerable New Yorkers who are elderly, disabled or have underlying health conditions. “COVID vaccination boosters and other proven prevention measures — like masking, getting tested, and staying home when sick — remain our best protection against COVID and other respiratory viruses.”
