This is another tax money scam from Green Climate and Energy Minister Leonor Gaevsler. This was brought to light in response to a question asked by NEOS MP Gerald Lockyer about this year’s climate bonus payment. As it turns out: Once again, ministers are throwing tax money out the window – eXXpress reports.
This year, for example, a direct mail was sent to all households asking them to update their account data before they could be paid the Climate Bonus. Printing cost is 111,333.60 Euro, shipping cost is 608,836.61 Euro. In addition, “explanatory videos” were produced for 13,850 euros. The design cost of the direct mail item is 9,600 Euros. This made a total of 743,619.36 euros.
Lockyer is now sharply critical: “The learning effect of the federal minister with the climate bonus is virtually zero,” he tells eXXPress. “Instead of digitally optimizing the process, Gaevsler continues to send Sodexo vouchers via RSA letter to people’s mothers. This will mean that taxpayers will have to pay a high price for sending vouchers again this year.
The “turquoise-green voucher policy” costs taxpayers billions in losses and, moreover, has only a short-term effect. It is more meaningful to have “structural relief” so that people have more in their wallets over the long term. If you take less money out of people’s pockets because the tax on work has gone down, you as a landlord don’t have to give it back to them later.
