The incident was preceded by court proceedings against the actor Florian Teichtmeister. Three days before the start of the trial there will be a large demonstration against Techmeister in Langenlois. The Association for Direct Democracy through Referendums (VDDV) has now announced this on its website. Title: “Pedo Pond Master, we come!”. The chairman of the VDDV is the BZÖ politician Martin Rutter (previously Team Carinthia or Team Stronach and the Greens).
Furthermore, the VDDV calls for “the immediate introduction of a criminal transparency database for pedophiles” in a petition, as it already exists in the United States and Poland. The trial against Teichtmeister will take place on 5 September at the Regional Court for Criminal Cases in Vienna. The former TV inspector is also accused of possessing and now producing thousands of files containing child pornography. As an additional evaluation of around 23 terabytes by data forensic experts revealed, Teachmeister is said to have himself changed 34,696 files by creating collages, slideshows and videos.
There is a provision for the accused to stay in jail and forensic therapy center for up to three years. The presumption of innocence applies to him.
