According to the police, a 23-year-old man from Liezen district drove his off-road vehicle on the “Zenerweg” municipal road from Rohrmos Untertal towards Fastenberg/Planai at around 10:40 p.m. There were three other males (aged 21, 23 and 25) in the vehicle. For reasons still unclear, the driver left the road and plunged into a wooded area on a rocky slope.
Only the 25-year-old passenger in the back seat was able to exit the vehicle and contact emergency services. He suffered injuries of an unspecified level. All other occupants of the vehicle were trapped in the debris, receiving fatal injuries.
