As it is now known, the suspected rapist of a young British woman (18) was traced and apprehended by Spanish police thanks to the victim’s cell phone. The woman was forced to have sex by eight men in Magaluf, on the Spanish holiday island of Mallorca, reports eXXpress. When he was first questioned, British said that the men had taken his cell phone before assaulting him in the hotel room.
As the newspaper “Ultima Hora” reports, the police then called the young woman’s cell phone number – one of the criminals immediately picked up the phone. Security forces were able to arrest the three perpetrators, Franzhausen AG, AA, both 20 years old, and KA, 18 years old.
During further questioning, the victim provided details of three other alleged perpetrators who were also believed to have been involved in the gang rape and who were later traced and taken into custody by investigators. These are the 20-year-old Swiss LH and the French TE (23) and RC (26).
Calvia’s criminal police are also looking for two other suspects who, according to the victim, also took part in the rape.
As “Ultima Hora” reports, the young woman has no clear recollection of what exactly happened. She was intoxicated and woke up in the middle of a group of men who were videotaping her with their cell phones while being sexually assaulted.
The alleged perpetrators are said to have filmed over 20 videos of the sexual assault. 13 video recordings were found on the phone of one of the lone criminals.
