Kevin Hecht isn’t called that for nothing. Small environment and climate In a carp pond, he is a big one. He has been a member of more than 30 organizations – from Greenpeace to now Last Generation. The professional blocker is currently in jail again for his concerns.
Kevin, recently released from 15 days in custody in Sweden, has to undergo a Cottbus prison in Brandenburg (de), where he has to wait for four weeks after dousing himself with superglue on the street and then resisting the authorities. Given the extent of the previous fine, the court had no option. Before that, he was found in prison in Landshut, Bavaria, after a magistrate had put it out of circulation so that he could not block it again.
Meanwhile, Kevin is all alone in prison. He is bored. That’s why he wrote an open letter to the outside world, where he mainly complained about the German bureaucracy behind bars: “For every footer you need applications, you have to imagine it funny as a tax return.
The most beautiful thing for him, as it probably is for most prisoners: the patio: “I can walk with my feet over the grass and some wild flowers,” writes Hecht: “I can walk over the lavender with my hand and the scent of can absorb.”
But he and his previous generation have a big request. Because it’s so boring in prison, they ask you to write a letter to Kevin. The first ones from Italy and Austria must have consoled him. “Thanks for the encouragement,” said Kevin Hecht, seeking more appreciation. The last generation promises: “Each letter will be delivered to the Cottbus Correctional Facility.”
