How many World War II bombs are still in Austria?

Just a few days earlier, a leftover American bomb dropped on Austria in World War II exploded and carved a huge crater in the Tyrol mountain meadows near the Brenner Pass – about 10 meters wide and three meters deep. Experts say that every year a large eruption of this kind occurs in Germany or Austria.
