In a press release on Friday, the electricity and gas network operator of the Energy-Ag group announced regular checks and complete shutdown of customer systems in the event of non-compliance.
The reason for the grid operator’s action is that the capacity of local grids is increasingly being used by feeding PV power. To provide as many customers as possible the opportunity to generate their own electricity in a PV system, the supply to the grid is limited even before installation. If individual customers do not comply, the entire local network may be shut down for security reasons.
