The OVP minister apparently also sees herself as the SDG minister, which can of course be translated as the “Great Reset” minister. It shows itself repeatedly with the “SDG” logo, although there has never been a referendum in Austria allowing the OVP to be subject to these foreign targets. The fact that Edstaedler repeatedly publicly asserts that she is pursuing “higher goals” could be seen as a violation of her oath of office—which unfortunately has little to do with practice. No result.
Caroline Edstaedler (42) has had a picture book career at the party. It was probably something she was born with, as she is the daughter of Karl Edstaedler, former director of the Salzburg state parliament. She became an active OVP politician as municipal councilor in Heindorf am Walersee until 2004. At the same time, she completed her law studies, court internship, and became a candidate for judgeship in 2006. He was appointed a judge in 2008. From 2011 he worked in the Ministry of Justice under Christian Pilnasek, who became famous because of various scandals, and from 2014 in the cabinet of Justice Minister Brandstätter.
In 2015, without working a single day as a public prosecutor, he was appointed Senior Public Prosecutor at the Vienna Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. Socialist critics in particular accused him of not having the capacity to do so and of being completely politically captured. During his time as a judge, according to the linked SPO medium “Contrast”, he administered extremely harsh and in some places “politically motivated” justice. For the post of Business and Corruption Prosecutor, he has to serve five years as a criminal judge or regular public prosecutor. This occupation had no consequences for anyone from the environment of the then OVP Sun Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.
Edstaedler then became “Minister of Europe and the Constitution”. An object that at first glance seems relatively insignificant. But this impression is clearly misleading, as Austria in this position is fully subordinated to the external targets of the United Nations Agenda 2023, also known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Edstaedler took his oath of office on January 7, 2020.
I pledge that I will faithfully abide by the Constitution and all laws of the Republic and will perform my duties to the best of my knowledge and belief.
Oath of the Republic of Austria
The oath of office in Austria is surely just a gimmick for a media loyal to the system. A politician need not fear any consequences for breaking campaign promises or breaking the oath of office, nor is he accountable for his actions. Accordingly, Ms Edstaedler was also able to affirm her oath of office with the words “I pledge” – and now repeatedly emphasizes on public occasions that she is serving “higher aims”. . The “higher aims” are not provided for in the Austrian constitution.
Report24 has already reported on the shocking and undemocratic statements made by Green Health Minister Rauch: Green Minister Rauch was openly enthusiastic about the radical measures at the Great Reset event. The minister was not only present at the same event, she was a co-organiser with her ministry. There he expressed himself repeatedly about his image as a minister – his service to fulfill “higher purposes”. Christian Hafeneker, Secretary General of the FPO, has made an informative video about this and presents the relevant excerpts:
Excerpt 1, 1:35 – On freedom of expression, freedom of demonstration and the rule of law:
…and that’s where I get right to the demonstration. Undoubtedly, everyone has this right and we also experience it. But these are the people who will probably climb the barricade as well. On the one hand, it is understandable But we do this because we want to serve a higher purpose here.
Here Edstaedler says in this context that she opposes the right to criticize the negative.
Excerpt 2, 2:50 – Restricting rights in court,
…and as a lawyer I’ll say again, we don’t cut appeals in any way because we’re bad or want to exonerate the courts, we do it, Because we also have to serve a higher purpose of simply achieving energy independence.
Here Edstaedler explains how those who fight for their rights in court should have fewer opportunities.
Part 3, 3:49 – Cruelly Restricting Rights
…where tricks are used or spread. Therefore, as a constitutional minister, I naturally take the stand that whenever there is a possibility of appeal, it has nothing to do with finesse, but to exploit the opportunities offered by a constitutional state. It can be done, and it certainly can be done. To be useful February 24 Against the backdrop that we have become painfully aware of how dependent we are on gas from Russia and there is a need to diversify, but also move towards self-reliance (sic!) Hopefully at some point, it is necessary to limit these possibilities – and I say ruthlessly. Not being able to contribute at every level. ,
According to Hefenecker, Edstaedler also said in this context that she wanted to discipline the citizens. According to Hefeneker, it seeks to undermine the principle of equality and the rule of law – and does so very openly.
Part 4, 6:03 – Restrictions on civil liberties, bringing the media into line
… because the personal concern of a person whose building has a high-voltage line passing over it or where some kind of excavation is being done due to underground cables is of course completely different. And that’s why I think there really needs to be a discussion, as we’re having here, with civil society, with science, with the media. And I’ll come back to that. We also need the support of published opinion from the public, and especially the media, to explain why we are doing this.
shocking understanding of democracy
It is an overall startling understanding of democracy and the Constitution that was advocated and publicly expressed at this event. Various ministers in the current federal government see themselves as representative agents of foreign powers, with what is well described as a “higher goal” – and apparently not as servants of those who have betrayed their parties. is chosen.
In another video published an hour ago, Christian Hefenecker is even more candid about the SDG incident.
Finally, some quotes from Twitter, which clearly show who Ms. Edstaedler really works for — and how proud she is of it.
