The number of overnight stays in Germany increased by 22 percent to 15.82 million. Compared to the previous winter, they increased by 25.8 percent to 25.73 million. In the case of the Netherlands, the second most important country of origin after Germany, there was an increase of 20 percent to 6.70 million overnight stays.
