Unusual deployment for the fire brigade in the provincial capital of St. Pölten. Because a snake crawled through a garden, residents alerted the Florianis.
A short time later, a squad arrived at the scene. The snake was about to eat a frog.
When the firefighters led the grass snake to another snack spot, the animal let go of the frog, which had almost been swallowed whole. “Unfortunately, any help came too late for him,” the emergency services report on their Facebook page.
