Two presidents honored the opening of the exhibition “Europe Experience”. Not only the President of the EU Parliament came to Vienna’s city center, but also Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. The latter declared a wish because, as he says: “My time is running out…”.
His wish is aimed at young people: he wants them to have “passion” for something “bigger”, for a common Europe, after all, next year for the first time voters over the age of 16 will also be able to vote in the European elections. “Yes, you can leave the European Union,” like the British, but that would have brought the country many disadvantages. In addition, “many untruths” were said during the Brexit election campaign. EU President is pleased The President of the EU Parliament, Robera Metsola, is also pleased that the “Experience Europe” visitor center is now also stopping at a prominent address in Vienna. She underlined the support given to Ukraine by the European Union. The EU has to face many challenges right now. It is all the more important that more European awareness should now move into Austria through “Experience Europe”.
