“The balance of the past winter season is extremely positive and shows that we are back at the high level that we had before Corona,” said Barbara Eibinger-Miedl (ÖVP), Minister of Tourism. “Our international local markets have developed particularly positively with an unprecedented figure of 2.656 million overnight stays. Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland and Slovakia have generated new record overnight stays,” said Michael Urlaub, Managing Director of Styrian Tourism and Location Marketing GmbH.
