Different countries, different customs – that’s the motto from autumn on the Baden stage. In his penultimate season, Michael Lakner relies on an opulent program with well-known faces. The new season is a “commitment to curiosity about foreign cultures”, as the artistic director emphasizes. Highlights from October So from autumn there are highlights like “My Fair Lady” with audience favorites like Oliver Baier as Henry Higgins, Andreas Steppan (Doolittle) or Chris Lohner (Mrs. Higgins) not only to Lower Austrian audiences. At the premiere on October 21, the scene of the action will be relocated from England to the spa town. As a pre-Christmas treat (premier on September 16), director Peter Lund brings Franz Lehar’s musical comedy “Friederike” to the stage with Herbert Steinböck and Verena Scheitz Language ensure an influx of visitors from January 27th. The sinking of the “Titanic” can be admired from February 24 in the musical of the same name.
