In bright sunshine, the Spanish royal family celebrated the confirmation of King Felipe and Queen Letizia’s youngest daughter Sofia on Thursday. The Infanta made a grand entrance in a bright fuchsia jumpsuit alongside her mother and sister, Crown Princess Leonor, drawing everyone’s attention.
The colourful, sleeveless jumpsuit featured a small neckline just above the waist and was finished with an elegant criss-cross bodice. The 16-year-old completed her look with a pair of nude flats and a light pink clutch bag with gold studs. Letizia was visibly proud of the student. Perfectly matched to her daughter, the queen wore a chic light pink top with voluminous sleeves, white culotte trousers and espadrillo wedges, her declared favorite shoes in summer temperatures. The heir to the throne Leonor also wore blue suede espadrilles. She paired these with a gorgeous red floral dress.Military The 17-year-old graduated from UWC Atlantic College in Wales, where her sister Sofia is a student, just last week and will begin a three-year military course in the autumn. She will attend the first year at the Military Academy in Zaragoza. Her second year will be at the Marín Naval School and aboard the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano, and the third year at the General Air Academy. When Leonor becomes Queen of Spain one day, she will be the Commander-in-Chief of the Spanish Armed Forces.
