A test drive on Wednesday afternoon in Vienna-Favoriten ended differently than expected for a car salesman. During a short stopover in a parking lot, another car suddenly parked next to the Bentley for sale. The driver threatened the seller with a handgun and forced him to get out. The perpetrators then fled in both cars.
A 47-year-old actually only wanted to sell a 33-year-old man a vehicle from the luxury brand Bentley. Therefore, a test drive was agreed on Wednesday afternoon. During the test drive, the Serbian national stopped at a free parking space. Suddenly another vehicle stopped right next to it. The perpetrators fled with both cars. The unknown driver got out of the vehicle and threatened the car salesman with a handgun. The perpetrator asked the seller to get out of the car and stole his mobile phone. The driver then sped off with the car for sale. The 33-year-old man got into the stranger’s vehicle and also made off with his vehicle. A subsequent immediate search by the alerted police officers was unsuccessful. The investigation is being conducted by the Vienna State Criminal Police Office, investigation area robbery.
