The first Austrian boats in action at the European Rowing Championships in Bled/Slovenia didn’t make it through to the semi-finals or finals and had to go through to the intermediate round!
Paul Ruttmann and Konrad Hultsch, who stood in for the injured Julian Schöberl at short notice, came sixth in the preliminary heat in the lightweight double sculls in the intermediate heat, in which only the C final (Friday) looked out. The newly composed LG double sculls Lara Tiefenthaler/ Louisa Altenhuber took fourth place in the preliminary heat and is rowing for a place in the A final on Friday.
