As part of the patrol activity, police officers wanted to draw the attention of a cyclist in Leonding on Tuesday at around 11:15 p.m. that he had not switched on his lights when it was dark. It turned out that the cyclist was “walking” with a bag of cannabis.
Suddenly, the cyclist drove away from the officers and threw an unknown object into the bushes next to the road. The man also fell on his bike. The object was a bag full of marijuana. The object was a bag of cannabis herb. The cyclist was taken to the police station for immediate questioning, where he claimed nothing to do with the cannabis herb. Following the interrogation, the 25-year-old man from the Eferding district was presented for a clinical examination due to several symptoms that indicate an addictive drug impairment.Unfit to driveThe medical officer determined that he was unfit to drive.
