It goes without saying that Auer, last year’s DTM runner-up, also has a clear goal in mind on the track. “I want the performance curve to go up steeply, I want to get up front and at some point be in such shape that I can fight for victories again.” But the competition is tough: with Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes and Porsche are six premium manufacturers at the start.
