A drunk moped driver caused an accident in Bildstein on Sunday. The man collided with a guardrail.
The 44-year-old moped driver was driving his mobile pedestal at 7:54 p.m. on Sunday on the L15 in Bildstein in the direction of Wolfurt. In a right-hand bend, he lost control of his moped and collided with a guardrail. The force of the impact caused the man to fall over the guardrail into an adjacent meadow. The 44-year-old was lucky and only sustained minor injuries. A breathalyser test revealed “considerable alcohol consumption,” according to the police.
