In a statement, Hochhold explains this as follows: “Unfortunately, everyday work as a mayor is not characterized by the harmony and community spirit that prevails in our political bodies. Complaints, unspeakable discussions, demands, and even insinuations, obviously as a reflection of our present-day I-society, increasingly characterize daily events, and even legal steps are no longer just threatened, but actually initiated.”
