The first large, joint rehearsal on Monday already shows that the various units are a well-rehearsed team. 1500 people are involved In order for the military music festival to take place on Thursday (7 p.m.), there are almost 800 people in addition to the 700 musicians (organizers , management staff, technicians, security forces and many helping military servants) on duty. Musical journey through several countries The musical repertoire is varied: in addition to the cultivation of classical marching music such as the “Great Austrian Tattoo”, the military bands present music for every taste. The spectrum ranges from rock and pop to sophisticated classical music. The guest stars Chris Steger – currently Grundwehrdiener-, star tenor Andreas Schager, whirlwind Melissa Naschenweng as well as the Slovenian and German-speaking choir “Jakob Petelin Gallus” and a youth choir from Klagenfurt complete the musical Travel through multiple states.
