Fire alarm on Sunday night in Kufstein in the Tyrolean Unterland: A fire broke out in a vacant house near the train station. Witnesses apparently observed how three youths ran away. A search has so far been unsuccessful.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m., the fire brigade was alerted by the control center after witnesses reported the fire. When the first police patrol arrived at the scene, flames were already shooting out of the attic windows. In addition, there was a lot of smoke. 30 emergency services moved in. The Floriani youth started immediately with a fire-fighting attack. The situation was eventually brought under control and the fire extinguished. All in all, the Kufstein fire brigade arrived with six vehicles and 30 members. Trio ran away – arson? According to witnesses, three young people ran away from the building in the direction of the Kufstein/Zell railway station level crossing. However, an immediate search was unsuccessful. Arson is not excluded – the investigations are ongoing.
