The delivery of a machine to Russia for a German company from Schleswig-Holstein, which was used for construction work on the Crimean Bridge, cost quite a lot. The company has to transfer 1.3 million euros to the state treasury. That was the district court in Kiel. The company violated EU sanctions imposed on Russia in 2014 by supplying a so-called hydraulic hammer. As the “tagesschau” reports, the penalty was 18,000 euros. However, the proceeds of the deal were also confiscated, and they amounted to 1.3 million euros.
