The accused young women were 18 years old at the time of the inexplicable crimes and were still going to school. On the evening of February 18, they drank together and also took drugs. Intoxicated, apparently full of hate and armed with a kitchen knife, they then went through Graz.
In Mondscheingasse they met a student (22) who was on his way to see a friend and whom the students had never seen before. According to the prosecutor’s office, they stabbed the boy for no apparent reason. The victim suffered 13 (!) stab wounds and cuts to his head, chest and back. Seriously injured, the young man from Graz was taken to the LKH and operated on.
Still not enough of their hate tour, the teenagers attacked a young person (17) a little later on the Radetzky Bridge – again without reason and without any warning. At first they complimented him, flirted with him to distract him. Suddenly they stabbed again. The youth also sustained serious injuries.
A short time later, the hate girls were arrested by the police. The officers seized the bloodstained murder knife from them. In the course of the investigation it came out that the girls had also set a fire in Mondscheingasse before the first attack.
If found guilty, the accused face long prison sentences under the Juvenile Criminal Code.
