“Coach, I’m dizzy.” 18-year-old US basketball player collapsed on court, dead

“Coach, I’m dizzy.” 18-year-old US basketball player collapsed on court, dead

In American college basketball, too, one could start thinking about why so many young people develop serious heart problems or even die from them. The most recent known case is that of 18-year-old Cartier Woods, who collapsed during a game on January 31. He died in hospital a week later.

Is it time to ask how there might be a connection between what can now be described as a myriad of heart problems in young athletes? How many more people have to die before a serious investigation is carried out?

Cartier Woods played basketball for Detroit Northwestern High School. At a game on January 31, he told a coach that he was dizzy. He lost consciousness three minutes into the game. He should never wake up again. A week later, his family agreed to remove his life support.

The US media is now debating whether the emergency protocols are sufficient in such cases and whether there are enough defibrillators. Interestingly, the Detroit Free Press article also includes the following paragraph:

Although there is an association with a very low risk of myocarditis or pericarditis after vaccination with the Pfizer and Moderna coronavirus vaccines, Trivax said these complications are rare and those who develop heart inflammation after vaccination overwhelmingly recover. COVID-19 vaccine opponents on social media blame the vaccine for sudden deaths, particularly among young people.

Of course, as a result, all doubts were dispelled with reference to “the science”, but the presence of the few sentences suggests a certain self-defense on the part of the reporters – in the only framework that is possible for them. The mere mention of vaccines allows readers to make up their own minds and draw their own conclusions.

The same article mentions another case where a 24-year-old football player named Damar Hamlin recently suffered a heart attack during a game. In his case, a previous clash with another player was blamed. They even found a case from 1988 where something similar happened. But since 2021 you don’t actually have to go back that far to find hundreds of heart attack deaths in sport and top-class sport. We wish our fellow journalists a lot of courage in their search and are confident that they will find more cases. So did the colleagues from the Detroit Free Press, who also know the case of 27-year-old Tommy Kornieck, who suddenly and unexpectedly passed out with heart problems during the half marathon in 2021. He survived after a long hospital stay.

The madness will probably only come to an end when the parents and relatives of the dead children and young people can no longer be put off and keep asking questions until the entire edifice of lies collapses. The USA is a good place for this, as the legal system offers far more options.
