Despite the fact that scientists warn of severe starvation as a result of increasingly radical climate policies, governments around the world are steering the increasing destruction of agriculture under the guise of reducing emissions. After demonstrations in the Netherlands and Canada, farmers in Belgium also took their protest to the streets last Friday: they blocked Brussels with thousands of tractors and warned of “socio-economic carnage” by politicians who are obedient to the WEF.
The police estimated the number of tractors in Brussels on Friday at around 2,700. Traffic came to a complete standstill in places. While blockades by supporters of the climate sect generally cause anger and indignation among the citizens, the farmers received a lot of encouragement for their action: the principle “no farmers, no food” (“no farmers, no food”) seems to be more familiar to the people than their government, which could destroy the livelihoods of hundreds of farmers by limiting nitrogen emissions.

In both the Netherlands and Belgium, the levels of nitrogen oxides in the air and water are above EU regulations. This is attributed to large animal populations and the use of nitrogenous fertilizers: Agriculture is therefore intended to destroy the environment – and, according to politicians, must be regulated accordingly. In the Belgian region of Flanders, there are therefore plans to drastically limit nitrogen emissions by 2025 – a declaration of war on farmers and, as a result, on food security. In a joint statement, farming organizations denounced that the implementation of the current plans would cause “socio-economic carnage”.
According to a media report, a young farmer who took part in the protest stated: “There is no future for us, we cannot go on like this.” One farmer indicated that as part of their job, farmers are the first to feel the consequences of environmental damage and are therefore much more aware of it. She demanded that the government let them do what they do best. Another criticized that the agricultural sector is already doing everything in its power to comply with increasingly strict regulations, but the government is demanding more and more from farmers – and while the industry continues to expand.
Video footage of the protest quickly went viral on social media:

Massive protest today by Belgian farmers at the EU parliament in Brussels. The EU wants to destroy European agriculture under the false flag excuse of nitrogen pollution.

It remains to be seen whether the big demonstration will make those responsible in Flanders change their minds. If you stick to the controversial plans there, further protests are likely to follow.
