When you see the Mayor of Vienna, Michael Ludwig, in the media, the association “Quax the crash pilot” immediately comes to mind, because like him, most of his actions end in a crash landing. The fact that these crash landings rarely result in negative media coverage is due to the fact that the funny little man has enough advertising money at his disposal, which he can constantly throw down the throats of the always greedy Viennese tabloid mob, in order to keep them calm and docile.

There is no other way to explain that there was no storm at all over the hefty Wien Energie scandal, in which the front man of the Vienna SPÖ, with the assistance of the Neos Clean Party, gave a bankrupt company behind the back of the public more than a billion euros from the already ailing city budget the indignation erupted in the media, which usually sets in when an FPÖ politician tips too little or someone from the ÖVP lets a swear word fall into his constantly bugged phone. In any case, without these injections of tax money from hard-working citizens, the most ailing of all Austrian energy companies would have died out months ago, and another uneconomical state enterprise would have left the stage of the Austrian community for the benefit of the common good.

Encouraged by the silence of the mainstream media, Ludwig and his racquet don’t let the economic mega-crash be enough, but crown the disaster by planning a Christmas party for the tax billion-grave, at which 35,000 euros are available other 100 kilograms of deer meat and 80 kilograms of salmon are to be brought up. With these quantities of slaughter products, one does not think of a contemplative Christian celebration, rather the bacchanalian, opulent orgy mystery play of the recently deceased performance artist Hermann Nitsch comes to mind.

We already knew from the time before Ludwig, when rumors about nocturnal sparkling wine parties in the belle etage of the town hall circulated among the people, that the Viennese SPÖ is not the party of Christian asceticism, but rather leans towards bacchanalian licentiousness and epicurean excess. The fact that the party now intends to elevate its hidden pagan exuberance to official party doctrine is new, since it used to be downright typical of the party that a very strict distinction was made between the attitude and practice of inner life and outer appearance. The Christian faith has always been undesirable within the SPÖ. Anyone who entered Löwelstraße with a spontaneous “Grüß Gott” on their lips received at least skeptical looks, if they weren’t even subtly rebuked with comments like “hello me and not God”.

National Councilor Kai Jan Krainer, who is always committed to integrity and honesty, has now put an end to this double game by harshly pointing out to the managing director of the ÖVP Lower Austria in the perpetual snooping committee for parliamentary hobby detectives that in Vienna they greet with “Guten Tag” and not with “Grüß Gott”. With this, Krainer made it clear that the SPÖ does not want to be the party of Austrian Christians, neither Catholic nor Reformed. This is not sensible in terms of power tactics, but it creates clear conditions. If you are a conservative Christian, then from now on you will vote for the ÖVP, if you are on the side of the left-wing Catholics, then the radical-moralist Greens.

The SPÖ has thus withdrawn from the political competition for the Christian electorate and can now concentrate on the powerful mass movement of atheists and agnostics and, as before, indulge its preference for the mass immigration of Muslims. Ludwig’s awkward attempt to row back with an opportunistic “Grüß Gott” in the Sunday press hour can no longer change that. It’s quite obviously a heavy blow for Ludwig that after his election victory over the party left around Andreas Schieder he didn’t consistently remove them from the levers of power. This is the guilt of the past that will catch up with Ludwig again and again until he has completely lost his power and has to step aside for his powerful internal adversary, Peter Hacker.

Ludwig is already standing on extremely unstable ground. Many of his followers from the moderate wing of the party criticize his migration course in private. Fearing a split in the party, Ludwig kept his hands off this topic as best he could or tried unsuccessfully to cloud the problem with verbose pseudo-solutions. His latest idea is an ancient one. The opening of the labor market for bogus asylum seekers is intended to solve all of the capital’s problems, which are now coming to the surface with frightening harshness as a result of the SPÖ’s generous invitation policy.

In this way, the shortage of skilled workers could be remedied at the same time. But how on earth is that supposed to work when the angry young men from Muslim countries who are pouring in are so poorly educated that it is almost impossible to bring them up to a level suitable for the labor market. Conditions are already emerging in Vienna today that we know from the Parisian banlieues – hatred of religion, violence, patriarchal oppression of women, refusal of education, anti-Semitism, gang crime and non-stop rape. Some train stations and parks have long since become no-go areas for women because a mob that cannot be integrated is lurking there that knows no borders because it was brought up to regard women with a western lifestyle as worthless commodities with which one can, without committing a sin can do whatever you want.

It turns out that the SPÖ Vienna is exactly as Michel Onfray described the left-liberal elites of our day: hard on the weak and lenient on the strong. While the Viennese residents of the working-class districts are left alone with the marauding young testosterone bombs, the powerful spokesmen of dogmatic Islam are courted, they break the fast every year, a gluttony that is supposed to symbolize that from now on everything is allowed again failed theatrically for a short time. After a small gesture of submission to the Koran, everything can go on as usual. Mindful and morally reflective people are not formed that way. Hard on the weak, lenient on the strong. The figure of the syringe man, who violently attacks normal people and drags them by the ear, as in Struwwelpeter, to the vaccination station, also fits this concept of petit-bourgeois spinelessness. Last year, the anti-state Antifa chanted on the street at vaccination demos WE WILL VACCINATE YOU ALL. With the authoritarian figure of the syringe man, the Viennese SPÖ makes it clear to us that Antifa’s wish is their command. Madness is currently systematic in Vienna. And this system is called SPÖ.
