“Post is so alone“, the new vaccination mascot of the City of Vienna is currently greeting us with this sentence on the social media channel Instagram. In a short clip you can see how sadly it wanders through empty halls. The video ends with the sentence “Post waiting for you, don’t let him down“. In another video, the mascot happily strolls through the streets of Vienna and tries to get people to vaccinate. The city of Vienna loses all sense of what is appropriate. Only unpackbar“, sums up Dr. Marcus Franz summarized the absurd idea on Twitter.
Whether the action turns out to be a success remains in doubt. One thing is certain, however: there would be enough yelling – as the eXXpress reported, Health Minister Johannes Rauch (Greens) is sitting on 14 (!) million corona vaccines. That’s not enough: “A total of up to 17 million vaccine doses have been announced for the next two years,” the ministry said in response to the eXXpress request.
