The inferno on the Crimean bridge was an act of terrorism – Russian President Putin has no doubts about that. Not even because Ukraine is responsible for it. The Kremlin boss will meet with his advisors on Monday and make plans for revenge. Very loud voices in Russia are demanding “something big” in response…
The President of the Russian Federation will today sit down with security chiefs to devise a plan of revenge for the Crimean bridge blow-up, which he described as a “terrorist attack” by Ukraine.
The pressure from within our own ranks is growing. Supporters of the Russian president have urged him to “stop talking” and “painfully beat” the Kiev regime. The Kremlin is still downplaying fears of a nuclear reaction. “Russia can only respond by directly killing terrorists, as is customary in other parts of the world,” said Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev.
The deputy governor of Russia’s southern Stavropol region, Valery Chernitsov, has already warned Ukrainian civilians. In a threatening video posted to Twitter, he said: “Ukrainians, leave your cities, especially the big ones. Because a big surprise is waiting for you. Sarmat missiles are ready to hit you” – the eXXpress reported.
But it was Putin’s former adviser Sergei Markov who urged his former boss to “punish” Ukraine and its allies after the destruction of the Kerch bridge in Crimea, the Telegraph reports. It’s time Russia stopped talking and started jokingly hitting them instead,” he said, sparking fears about how Putin will react.
