Despite the huge scandal, it must have been extremely liberating for HC Strache (53) when a few days ago a small-format tabloid published a report about his secret second wife and their child (6) together. The former FPÖ leader had confessed to his wife Philippa Strache (34) about this relationship and also about the child, who had been kept secret until now, a week earlier, as the eXXpress and other media knew.
Now good acquaintances of the former Vice Chancellor believe that Heinz-Christian Strache went public with his long-kept secret anything but voluntarily: “Since August 2019, Strache knew that the economic and corruption prosecutor’s office knew all the chats on his mobile phone, which was confiscated at the time . And because he really has always written a lot of SMS, there should also be enough text messages from the years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 to his second wife, who was kept secret, on the cell phone.
This situation must have been quite stressful for the former FPÖ chairman: After all, Strache has known since April 2021 that leaks of explosive content from mobile phones confiscated by the judiciary are possible – as is well known, an ex-SPÖ advisor posted two and a half years ago that he knew about what could be seen on 2500 stored mobile phone photos of the ex-ÖBAG manager Thomas Schmid.
“It is rather unlikely that Heinz-Christian Strache just went on the offensive and suddenly wanted the truth published and thus also provoked the divorce from his wife Philippa. Rather, he could have been forced to do so because a medium knew about his mobile phone content because an additional incriminating publication of the whole affair was already imminent. Or because he was blackmailed with it,” the eXXpress learned from those closest to the family.
Heinz-Christian Strache doesn’t want to say anything more about the whole subject and refers to his lawyer.
As reported, Philippa Strache (34) filed for divorce after her husband confessed. The divorce date before the district court of Klosterneuburg was postponed from November 9th to November 30th at the request of Strache’s lawyer.
