Criminal climate “activists” continue to regularly make negative headlines. This week they caused anger and shaking of heads with two adhesive attacks on valuable paintings. With such actions, panic-stricken eco-terrorists have been protesting against the climate policies of their respective governments for a long time. It is not for nothing that climate researchers urgently recommend more education…
A comment by Andrea Waldner
We have already reported how followers of the climate sect glued themselves to the painting “The Last Supper”. On Tuesday, two members of the radical self-proclaimed “climate protection” initiative “Last Generation” attacked the world-famous painting “Sistine Madonna” by the Italian artist Raffael in the Old Masters Picture Gallery: They each stuck one hand to the frame of the picture with superglue. The group wrote on Twitter: “The climate catastrophe will probably kill us if we do not massively redirect immediately. That’s why we interrupt the daily routine – also in art.” The only interruption, of course, was that the police were called and the two figures were removed from the gallery.
A spokeswoman for the radical group babbled that the climate catastrophe can no longer be ignored. “Everything we hold dear will be destroyed by the climate catastrophe.” Scientists can only shake their heads at this – read: “1,100 scientists declare in Manifesto: There is no climate emergency!”
The “Sistine Madonna” is a powerful symbol, a 21-year-old self-proclaimed activist babbled. “Mary and Jesus look to the future with fear. They look forward to Christ’s death on the cross. An equally predictable death will also be the result of climate collapse. And all over the world.” With that everything is said about the mental state of the members of this sect – one usually hears such statements from the closed ones. This certainly seems like the right place for people who think they can stop an alleged apocalypse with superglue and criminal activities.
On request, a spokeswoman for the Dresden State Art Collections (SKD) stated that
fortunately the artwork itself was not damaged, only the non-historical frame. But this is also valuable. The amount of property damage has not yet been determined. The gallery was cleared by police after the incident. Investigations are underway against the two perpetrators, but they stayed on the loose. Actually, the security precautions are said to have already been tightened because of similar incidents: “There was security right next to the painting, but it happened so quickly,” said an SKD spokeswoman.
“Everyone actually knows about climate collapse”
Already on Wednesday, the adhesive terrorists targeted the next work of art, this time in Frankfurt’s Städel Museum. Two climate chaotics glued themselves, each with one hand, to the frame of Nicolas Poussin’s painting “Thunderstormed Landscape with Pyramus and Thisbe”. According to the group, the picture is a symbol of the destructive course of current politics. As usual, the power of argumentation is enormous: “Everyone actually knows about climate collapse, but tacitly accepts it. Everything will be destroyed – even art – if collective suicide doesn’t end immediately,” they tweeted.
The only destruction of art was done by the criminals themselves. The extent to which the picture frame was damaged is still under investigation. The museum has filed a complaint.
Collapse, Collapse, Collapse
The radical pseudo-protesters also announced on Wednesday (of course using their favorite word “collapse”): “With actions like today’s resistance to the course of the federal government is unignorably carried to places of art and culture. Places that will fall victim to an absolute collapse of the global climate and a subsequent collapse of social systems, as will countless lives, if the emergency brake is not finally pulled.” The only thing they achieve is to draw the justified anger of the population – Because politicians and authorities have so far allowed them to do their thing, and they don’t have to fear harsh penalties.
The radical eco-fanatics have a striking amount of free time and have already blocked hundreds of roads across Germany this year. In Leipzig and Dresden, for example, they kept sticking to the streets, causing dangerous traffic delays. The hatred of the population is growing, the state, through its inaction, encourages citizens to rely on vigilante justice – even he warns against this daily mirror. With their senseless “protests” demands the climate sect of Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) and Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck (Greens) a stronger commitment to the expansion of nature and climate killers such as wind turbines, so that the lights go out much faster in Germany. The screams of chronically affluent “activists” when the iPhone battery is empty and no more tweets about the “climate collapse” can be sold is presumably deafening.
“These people belong behind bars!”
Rainer Wendt, head of the German police union, has absolutely no understanding that the criminals don’t have to face any consequences for their machinations: “These are not demonstrators, but radical extremists who reject our rule of law.” In his opinion, the incidents in Frankfurt and Dresden show that the chaotic people had lost “every inhibition” – towards the Bild he demanded: “If we let them do it, there is a risk of the most serious crimes. These people belong behind bars!”
Criminal climate crackpots also abroad – French police make short work of it
Also in Italy the movement called “Ultima Generazione” in Italian is active. At a recent demonstration in the Cappella degli Scrovegni in Padua, northern Italy, two panicked people chained themselves to a railing in front of murals. Tourists who walked through the halls and looked at the works of art were warned by the two about the development of the climate. The summoned police officers finally carried the demonstrators out of the church. In Italy, too, the climate protection extremists have repeatedly blocked roads in the past, including sections of the important motorway ring around Rome.
In France, meanwhile, they make short work of stuck criminals (and reaping conspicuously much applause from countries like Germany):
It is frightening that so-called activists in this country can commit criminal offenses such as damage to property or endangering traffic without having to fear the consequences – because nothing is announced about real penalties. Meanwhile, the taxpayer bears the cost of numerous police operations. Is that because the radicals’ demands are in line with the red-green agenda? If counter-demonstrators were to rely on infantile adhesive actions, the Greens would certainly want to ban them…
