“Give refugees a future – with their will” – with these words the UN is currently not only advertising on its website, but also in newspaper advertisements. In plain language: The Europeans should now bequeath their money to refugees.
“The howler of the day: Now refugees are also to be used as heirs. The all-round carefree care in the German World Social Welfare Office is probably not enough,” writes an angry Twitter user in a post.
However, willing Europeans should also be offered something in return. It is said that the United Nations wants to take care of the burial, for example, dissolve house or apartment contracts and that conditions in the will – such as grave care – are observed. As the icing on the cake, there should not even be an inheritance tax.
Taxpayers in Austria are currently financing the basic services for 57,000 people from Ukraine and also for tens of thousands more immigrants from Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Instead of making provisions for the grandchildren, according to the idea of the United Nations, this should continue even after death – whether this will meet with a lot of encouragement remains to be seen.
