In addition to DJ Robin’s puff mama Layla, there has also recently been trouble for the Queen of Pop. Due to a “disabled-friendly” word, Beyoncé had to change her lyrics in the song “Heated” (eXXpress reported). Now Monica Lewinsky (49) also spoke up via Twitter. Beyoncé should please remove her name from the song “Partition” – which was released in 2014 (!).
“Hmm…while we’re at it. #petition,” Lewinsky wrote on Twitter. In the song, in which two people have fun in the back seat of a car, Beyoncé refers to Lewinsky’s affair with former US President Bill Clinton (75). Literally, the affected passage reads: “He undid all my buttons and tore my blouse. He Monica Lewinsky’te everything on my dress.”
The net is divided: While there are dozens of comments on Twitter like “Take Lewinsky’s name from the text! That’s a cheek!” there, some users also defend Beyoncé. “It’s the same as with Layla, artistic freedom must not be banned,” writes a user on Twitter.
